Scope
This policy applies to the Brelyx website and the invite-only Brelyx construction project management application. If you use Brelyx through a business or other organization, that organization may also control information submitted to its workspace and may provide additional privacy notices.
Information we collect
Account information. Brelyx may process your name, email address, company or organization, job title or role, account and authentication identifiers, invitation status, and related account details.
Project and construction-management information. Authorized users may provide project names and locations, assignments, schedules, milestones, tasks, decisions, status, progress and activity history, and role-based access information.
User-created project content. Brelyx may process project communications, messages, comments, notes, and other content created by authorized users.
Uploaded files. Brelyx may process photos, documents, plans, images, and other files users intentionally upload to projects. Uploaded content may include personal information selected by a user or the user’s organization.
Technical and security information. Brelyx may process information reasonably necessary to operate, secure, diagnose, and maintain the Services, including IP address, device and browser type, operating system or app version, timestamps, authentication and security events, access logs, crash or error reports, performance information, and similar diagnostic data.
Website, inquiry, and support information. When you contact Brelyx, request support, or submit a website inquiry, we may receive information such as your name, email address, phone number, project details, project location, message, and related correspondence.
How we use information
Brelyx uses information to provide, operate, and maintain the Services; administer invited accounts; authenticate users; and support secure sign-in.
We also use information to synchronize project details across supported devices; organize assignments, schedules, milestones, tasks, progress, and activity; enable project collaboration, communications, file sharing, and role-based access; respond to inquiries and support requests; send service-related communications; protect users and projects; troubleshoot errors; monitor reliability; comply with applicable law; enforce agreements; and protect legal rights.
Invite-only accounts and role-based access
Brelyx does not support public account registration. Authorized users are invited by an administrator.
Role-based access is used to limit the projects, features, and information available to each user. Project information and user-created content may be available to other authorized users of the same customer organization or project according to their assignments, permissions, and roles. Customer administrators may manage users, project access, roles, and account deactivation.
Users should provide only information they are authorized to share.
Service providers and disclosures
Brelyx may use service providers and infrastructure to operate the Services. These providers may process information in connection with hosting and cloud infrastructure, databases and file storage, authentication, communications and email delivery, monitoring, customer support, security, and related operational services.
Brelyx may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect the rights and safety of Brelyx or others, investigate misuse or security incidents, complete a corporate transaction such as a merger or asset transfer, or follow the direction or consent of the relevant user or customer organization.
No sale or third-party advertising
Brelyx does not sell users’ personal information. Brelyx does not use project or customer information for third-party advertising.
Security
Brelyx uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. Encrypted network transport is used where applicable.
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so Brelyx cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data retention, deactivation, and deletion
Brelyx retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the Services, maintain project and activity history, support customer operations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legitimate legal, security, and recordkeeping needs.
Deactivating an account may prevent future access without immediately deleting information associated with that account. Project records and user-created content may remain available to authorized customer administrators and project users when needed for ongoing work or project history.
When deletion is requested or an account or customer relationship ends, Brelyx may delete or de-identify information when appropriate and consistent with customer instructions, applicable law, and legitimate operational, legal, security, and project-history needs. Some information may remain for a limited period in backups, recovery systems, security records, or other records Brelyx is required or permitted to retain.
Privacy requests and choices
You may contact Brelyx to ask about your information or request access, correction, or deletion. To help us respond, include enough information to identify your account, organization, and relevant project. Brelyx may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request.
When information is controlled by your organization, Brelyx may direct the request to that organization’s administrator or coordinate with the organization. Requests are handled in accordance with applicable law and may be limited where information must be retained for legitimate operational, legal, security, or project-history purposes.

Children’s privacy
Brelyx is a business and construction-management service and is not directed to children. Brelyx does not knowingly seek personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Services, contact Brelyx at contact@brelyx.com.
Policy updates and contact
Brelyx may update this Privacy Policy as the Services or applicable requirements change. The Effective Date above shows when this version took effect. When appropriate, Brelyx may provide additional notice of material changes through the Services or by another reasonable method.
